The Rubenianum and the Netherlands Institute for Art History (RKD) pool their information on Flemish art dating from before 1800 in the database RKD images. Here you can find descriptions of artworks with up-to-date provenance information and bibliographical references. The descriptions are illustrated with recent digital images as well as digitized photographs and reproductions from the analogue image documentation of the two institutions. The focus is primarily on paintings and drawings, but you will also find sculptures, prints and tapestries. Additions and checks are performed by the academic staff of the Rubenianum and the RKD.
The online documentation of works of art supplements the existing analogue documentation.

The project 'Digitizing the Corpus Rubenianum Ludwig Burchard' involves providing digital access to the complete oeuvre of Rubens, including copies. The Rubenianum is providing this access systematically in RKDimages.. You can easily find the descriptions by searching in the CRLB online.
