Historical background, content and structure
Although the institutional archives of the Rubenianum – a municipal organization – are part of the municipal archives, some parts are kept within the Rubenianum itself. These archives include the notes, correspondence and typescripts of the first curator, Frans Baudouin (1920-2005), relating to exhibitions, publications and research projects.
