Recent and ongoing projects relating to making collections accessible and research
The Rubenianum is an ideal place for researchers who are studying a theme that falls within the institution’s field. Researchers who obtain a residency are given access to the collections, have a place to work in the city of Rubens, and enjoy an opportunity to participate in an international research network.
Planned symposia, seminars and workshops.
Young art historians immerse themselves in Flemish art
For those working towards a Master’s degree or a doctorate and who are specializing in Flemish art, a ten-day Summer Course is organized in Flanders every year. The Rubenianum is one of the partners involved in this initiative.
The Rubenianum makes its art-historical expertise available for the benefit of museums and heritage organizations, private individuals, auction houses and government bodies.
